Bumble and bumble
With over six years in the professional beauty industry, Juan Carlos has always known education was his purpose. From the beginning, his focus was on building real knowledge, skill, and experience before stepping into teaching—seeking out world-class education in haircutting, barbering, cosmetology, color theory, chemistry, marketing, public speaking, and social media.
While still in beauty school, he became a One Shot Hair Awards finalist, setting the tone for a career rooted in growth and intention. Shortly after graduating, he began a pivotal mentorship with Ashlee Norman, who poured decades of industry wisdom into his development and helped shape his standards as an artist and educator.
Today, Juan Carlos has taught cutting, color, and styling across more than 25 states, on stage and in salons, in both English and Spanish. He has worked on global education campaigns for major color brands while remaining full-time behind the chair and serving as Director of Education at Mosaic Salon in Las Vegas—one of the top 10 L’Oréal salons and a leading Bumble and bumble network salon.
Driven by deep love for the industry and the artists within it, Juan Carlos is passionate about building community, raising standards, and empowering stylists to see what’s possible. Becoming a member of the House of Bumble Collective is the realization of a long-held dream.
